Meet our Founder
Roberta Lockett leads W.C. Lock Consulting with nearly two decades of experience in the insurance industry and a strong emphasis on education, compliance, and client advocacy. Roberta is Medicare-certified and Marketplace Exchange–certified in Maryland and Illinois. She is currently licensed to serve clients in Kentucky, Maryland, Virginia, Washington, DC, and Illinois. Her approach to insurance is grounded in clarity, integrity, and a deep commitment to helping individuals and families make informed decisions about their coverage.
Roberta’s passion for protecting families is deeply personal. After losing both of her parents and her sister within six years, she experienced firsthand the importance of being prepared for life’s unexpected moments. Those experiences reinforced the value of having the right protections in place—coverage that provides stability, reduces uncertainty, and offers peace of mind when it matters most.
Throughout her career, Roberta has also trained and mentored insurance agents, providing guidance on Medicare regulations, individual and group sales, and ethical, compliant sales practices. Educating professionals on the laws behind insurance products—and how to responsibly serve clients. This has been a cornerstone of her work.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Roberta is dedicated to making insurance easier to understand and navigate. Whether working directly with clients or supporting her team and fellow professionals, her mission remains the same: to deliver clear guidance, informed solutions, and trusted support for life’s most important coverage decisions.
